The location of your manufacturer’s code will tell you what model your Ezgo golf cart is.
If you locate it on the Rear Passenger Side Frame, it’s an E-Z-GO RXV (2008 & up).
If you locate it Below the Charger Receptacle, Passenger side glove box, and Cross member beneath the access panel. If the last two serial numbers of your EZ-GO manufacturer’s code are “98”, you own a 1998 EZ-GO TXT– E-Z-GO TXT (1996 & up)

Step 2: Locate the Year of Your Model
On the tag containing letters and numbers that you find in the locations listed above, depending on your Ezgo golf cart, your manufacturer’s number will be the set of numbers with 3 or 4 digits and a letter. Your cart’s serial number is the longer set of 6 to 7 numbers. They don’t tell you the year.
The last two numbers of the manufacturer’s code are the model year of your EZ-GO golf cart manufactured from 1979 & up. If it was manufactured from 1976-1978, it would be the first two numbers.
