1. Locate the Accelerator Control Assembly under the dashboard of the cart, close to the accelerator pedal.
2. Find the Adjustment Screw on the Accelerator Control Assembly labeled as “throttle.”
3. Disconnect the battery for safety purposes.
4. Use a screwdriver to adjust the screw, turning clockwise to increase sensitivity and counterclockwise to decrease it.
5. Reconnect the battery and test the accelerator to ensure it is working properly.
6. Repeat the adjustment as needed until the desired sensitivity is achieved.

1. Car is not Starting

If your club car is not starting, it may be an indicator that the battery is dead.

How to Fix

1. Test the battery with a voltmeter to ascertain how much power it has.
2. Recharge the battery with the correct tools
3. Test the accelerator to see if charging the battery worked.
4. Disconnect the battery if the accelerator doesn’t work.
5. Remove it and put in a suitable substitute.
6. Test the new battery before connecting it.
7. Check if the accelerator works.

2. Slow Acceleration

How to Fix

Use a small broom or vacuum cleaner to remove the dirt under the pedal. 

3. Car Stopping During Driving

Loose wire connections may cause this. 

How to Fix

1. Open the hood of your car and check if the wires connected to the controller are safely held in position.
2. Check other connections throughout the engine and the accelerator.
3. Screw the wires firmly in place if there are any loose connections. 

4. Sudden Changes in Speed While Driving

A faulty speed controller may cause this. 

How to Fix

This may be done by resetting the controller or replacing it. 

To Replace the Controller: 

1. Open the car’s hood and find the speed controller, a large rectangular box with wires connected to it from the foot pedal.
2. Carefully disconnect all the wires connected to the box
3. Please take out the bolts holding them in place using the suitable wrench.
4. Install the new controller and reconnect the wires to it

5. Wrong Reading on the Speed Controller

A faulty speed controller or a bad solenoid could cause this. 

How to Fix

To change a faulty solenoid, take the following steps: 

1. Open the hood of the car to get the battery system. 
2. Find the solenoid by looking at your card schematics. 
3. Detach the screws holding the solenoid.
4. Disconnect the wires linked to the solenoid.
5. Install the new solenoid and screw it in place

2. Check the throttle cable to ensure it is not frayed or stretched. You may replace frayed or stretched cable to enhance responsiveness. 
3. Check the air intake system for restrictions and replace it where necessary. 
4. Check the engine control module. 
5. It is best to consult your car’s owner’s manual and employ the services of a professional mechanic when handling such problems.

Your accelerator may feel weak for many reasons, which may include the following: 

1. Low Fuel Pressure: This occurs when the fuel pump is not giving enough pressure to the engine.

2. Throttle Body Issues: These occur due to a clogged or dirty throttle. 

3. Vacuum Leaks: These can cause the engine to run poorly
